      Thats the magnetic force! Magnets always have two poles and opposite poles attract, the stronger the magnet the stronger the force of attraction, it’s also stronger the closer you get to the magnet. The same poles repel. Try it with two bar magnets and see how it changes as you move the magnets closer and further together. Magnetism is weird but we can use it for many useful things!
