• Question: How come when it is summer in the NH it is winter in the SH. ?

      Because Earth is tilted on its axis, it means that parts of it are angled towards the sun while others are angled away from it – causing the seasons we observe. It would be quite strange to celebrate Christmas on the beach in Australia!
