      Depends what you want to make a potion for!

      You could just chuck in random ingredients and see what happens, just be careful what you drink!

      First, you take a glass bottle and fill it with water. You now have a water bottle. You then add Nether Wart to create an Awkward Potion – this one is your base for other potions and doesn’t have any effect on its own.

      Then you add other ingredients depending on what actual potion you want to make – for example, sugar for a potion of swiftness. You can enhance this potion further by adding other ingredients – a redstone to get a Potion of Swiftness +, or Glowstone Dust to get a Potion of Swiftness II.

      If none of that made sense to you, you might want to try playing Minecraft. If that made sense to you, then yay!
