A star cluster is a group of stars – they are a smaller subunit than whole galaxies.

Some are more open, containing a few hundred scattered scars, while others contain stars in a roughly spherical shape – these are known as globular clusters. Omega Centauri is such a globular cluster, and it takes the cake for being the largest star cluster, containing 10 million stars.
