• Question: Why are some planets big and why are some small

      Depends on what they are made of, of how much of that stuff came together to make that planet! Also, a planet may seem smaller than another when we look at them through a telescope, even though side by side they would be the same size. This is because one is further away than the other, and planets further away appear smaller.
