      Yes, especially when experiments work well and I get to learn more about genetics. When things don’t go as planned, or when I’m feeling a bit lonely, I cheer myself up by going to science events so I can talk to people like you about science. I love to hear your science stories and share my own with you.

      Yes I love my job! Obviously there are days when I’m tired and have a cold and don’t want to go to work but on the whole it’s great. One of the things I love is that if I look at what a medical physicist in my job was doing 20 years ago it’s very different to what I do now. Research and developments mean my job is always changing which keeps it interesting – who knows what I’ll be doing in 20years time?!
