Cancer is actually a collective name for the process that leads cells to multiply out of control. There are as many cancers as there are different cell types in our body, and as there are over 200 of these, there is no general ‘cancer’, just as there is no one single ‘cure for cancer’.

Some cancers are more dangerous than others, spreading quickly and destroying our bodies.

Some cancers spread more slowly, and they can be kept in check with the help of drugs – but these drugs often work on only specific types of cancer, which is why we say that some cancers do not have a cure.
