Lots of fuel! When the fuel burns it creates lots of gas which takes up more space and tries to escape. By making it easier to get out the bottom of the rocket it will push the rocket up in the air. There are some really cool videos on YouTube. You can also make your own mini ones by putting bicarb and vinegar in an old film canister, or you can do water rockets with a 2l bottle and a car tyre pump – ask your teacher if you could try it in science one day!
