      If you were having an x-ray to check for a broken bone it would take just a few seconds. If you were having a CT scan where we use x-rays to make a 3D picture of your body that might take a bit longer (about 30 second). Using x-rays to treat cancer can take a few minutes up to around 40mins for some of the complex treatments.
