About 100 more! That’s a pretty impressive number, considering that adult humans have 206 bones in their body.

Some of these extra bones fuse together as babies grow up, for example their skulls consist of more bones than the skull of an adult. A baby’s skeleton is actually made mostly of cartilage that turns into bone as they grow, which is why they are so flexible!
