      We’ve just got a new detector to measure the amount of energy from x-rays. I’ve been doing tests on it to make sure it measures the same amount as our old detectors and to see what effects the result. If the detector is turned at an angle then the result is different, this shows that we need to measure things with the same set-up every time or we might not notice a problem with the x-rays.
