In addition to our environment, DNA is what makes us the way we are, and if mutations in it occur, these can lead to disease. I wanted to know more about which mutations are capable of causing diseases, and how different mutations affect our traits – such as how tall we grow or what our blood pressure is.
The more we know about the relationship between mutations, traits, and diseases, the better we can diagnose illnesses and try to develop cures for these.
