• Question: what planet that is not earth was discovered first

      This one is impossible to answer, because there are several planets (namely, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) that can all be seen with the naked eye, so it is entirely possible that cavemen were the first to see these.

      Out of the remaining planets, Uranus was discovered first, in 1781 by a man named William Herschel. Others had seen it before, but thought it was a star!
