Question: what wuold happpen if a black hole ate the sun

It would probably eat us too! If we were watching it eat the sun we would see the sun spinning around it getting closer and more stretched out, then it would hit what is called the “event horizon” at this point we would see the sun seem to stop in the position it was in just before it reached the horizon. At the event horizon even light can’t escape so we have no idea what happens beyond that point.
