      Nope! Although by the time the planets in our Solar system cease existing, we’ll be long gone.

      Planets generally last for quite some time, happily orbiting around their suns. The sun, however, eventually runs out of energy (our sun is predicted to do this in about 6 billion years, which is longer away than the amount of time our solar system has existed!). The sun starts dying, increasing in size at first and vaporizing everything in its path, including the planets that used to orbit around it.
